Sealant Applications, Protect & Enhance

In order to protect, enhance and preserve your driveway or patio we recommend having them sealed.

As an approved Resiblock contractor we are able to give you expert advice on which sealant would be best suited for the area to be sealed. Resiblock have built up an enviable reputation for supplying high quality block paving sealant for commercial and domestic use. This also applies to clay block paving sealants, Natural Stone sealants and Tarmac restoration. We can apply sealers to seal, stabilise and protect Natural Stone, Indian Sandstone Paving, Granite, Limestone, Yorkstone Paving Flagstones, Clay Block Paving and Concrete Block Paving. We can also offer Matt, Gloss (wet look) or Invisible sealants.

Resiblock sealers will act as weed inhibitors by hardening the sand in the joints of the pavers. This will help to prevent weeds from growing, which is a common issue for most homeowners. Applying a highly protective block paving sealer will prolong the lifespan of your paving or driveway, by slowing down the weathering of the surface. The sealer will also act as a filter to harmful UV rays, preventing colour loss from both paving and natural stone surfaces.

Stain, Blackspot, Lichen & Algae removal

Due to the porous nature of patio stone and block paving and the combination of the damp British weather many types of micro organisms can form. These include algae, moss, fungi and lichen, if left these can become unsightly and can also cause dangerous trip hazards. We are able to offer treatments to remove these. We are also able to remove Oil stains, Effloresence, Paint and Mineral deposits. Prior to using treatments a full risk assessment will be done . Biocide and preventative treatments can also be applied which can protect hard surfaces from moss and lichens for up to 2 years.
